Our Story · The Direct Family
Every district in Los Angeles has a door the public never sees — the floor where the stores themselves buy. Our family has worked behind those doors for thirty years. Diamonds District Direct is simply the newest key.
Our family's trade began with Daniel Hamudot, who built Eternity Fashion on Towne Avenue in downtown Los Angeles — manufacturing clothing at a scale of tens of thousands of units a month, for more than fifteen years. His sons learned the business the way source businesses actually run: fabric by the bolt, margins in the open, relationships measured in decades.
Yeron Hamudot carried that wholesale world forward — through Rebound LA, through Broken Leash in Henderson, to Identity Fashion, a high-end boutique on Melrose. Yaniv Hamudot grew up inside all of it, then went and learned the other side of the counter: wealth advisory, real estate, the discipline of other people's money handled carefully.
What the family kept, across every venture, is one philosophy: connect people directly to the source, and cut out everything that doesn't serve them. Los Angeles is where America's goods come ashore and where its districts hum — fabric, flowers, suits, signs. The Jewelry District on Hill Street is the same story in its oldest form: a few dense blocks where the stones the whole country wears change hands at the level the public never sees.
The family's brand names were never decoration. They're the philosophy, woven together — and they hang over this house too:
Forever. A diamond is the literal version — the hardest promise nature makes. We sell them like it.
If you fall, you rebound — you get back up. Every family business learns it; ours wrote it on the door.
Break free of restraints — including the retail markup nobody agreed to pay.
Let your ideas and beliefs out and be your own identity. Her ring should look like her — not like a display case.
Of all the districts, jewelry kept its wall the longest. The public still buys its most emotional purchase — the stone she'll look at every day — through the longest chain of markups in retail, armed with the least information. We think that's exactly backwards. So this house runs the family play, in full: source-level access, education before salesmanship, certificates beside every stone, one margin in writing, and a private room where the decision gets the time it deserves.
We're brokers, and we say so proudly. We don't pretend to be a century-old house, and we will never name our sources or borrow their history — the district's credibility is earned stone by stone, viewing by viewing, family name on the line. That's been the Hamudot way for thirty years. It works just as well in gold and carbon as it did in cloth.
The same family stands behind every one of our districts — and behind the family, a mother who was never taught the trade, learned it by living it, and filled her children with so much love they can pass it on to perfect strangers. Her care lives through us still. Our promise: we care about you, and you matter to us. We take joy in seeing people shine — a candle lighting another candle doesn't lose anything.
One Family of Direct Houses
Each house does one district, the same honest way.
Suits at the source — wholesale suiting, sold direct, with wedding parties fitted as a party.
Flowers at the source — market-fresh arrangements and weddings without the storefront markup.
Fabric at the source — deadstock and production fabric, broker-direct from the Garment District.
Signs at the source — orders connected directly to the shop that makes them.
And Spirit Sportfishing — named for the spirit our mother and our brother left in us: to live, to build, and to be.
